A fully restored Hanging Library Lamp circa 1890. The frame has all matching parts with shade ring, intermediate ring and crown ring with the same design The ceiling Pull down mechanism is fully functional and has the original brass embossed smoke bell. The Cranberry shade has the fire polished bottom rim and is in excellent condition.The last picture depicts the actual olor of the shade best it is lighter than shown in the other pictures. In fact, it is a bit lighter yet than that picture. The font fuel tank is intact, holds fuel and the burner has a new center draft wick. The oil burner was made by Plume and Atwood (P&A) and transports the wick easily. The brass chains have been replaced,but the solid brass chain bars on the shade ring are original. Not shown are 30 old crystal prisms which hang from the shade ring. A collector grade lamp.
