Daffy Down Dilly - # 171 - Storybook Series - 1945

	This Nancy Ann Storybook doll is called Daffy Down Dilly, #171. She is a frozen leg bisque doll from the Storybook Series and dated 1945. She is mint in the box, with her wrist tag and pamphlet. The owner of the doll was Judy Schoenberg. In 1947, she took the doll to her elementary school in Wauwatosa, WI to enter it in a hobby show. The school was named McKinley. She won a green ribbon for the doll. The entry blank and ribbon are included in the box. Judy was in the third grade. The box is white with red dots, and the silver label reads: Daffy Down dilly has come to town in a green petticoat and a yellow gown. Price: $90.00 Item 297
