Here is description of all the parts of a Rayo Lamp which
may
help you to identify any parts you may need:
RAYO PARTS
The Rayo lamp consists of the lamp base which is a brass or
nickel plated part that contains the foot, with slotted or
heart shaped air intake holes at the very bottom, then a
stem
leading up to the font or fuel holder, the font has a fuel
fill cap and a threaded opening for the burner. The burner
(#111 on our web site) has a knob which moves the gear
driven
wick riser. On top of the burner is the gallery, which has
a
round filigree fence to support the 2&5/8" x 10" chimney.
In
the center of the burner sits the inner wick tube, which is
a
part attached to the font. The flame spreader is placed
inside the top of the wick tube, which is located in the
middle of the top of the burner. The Under-The-Burner (UTB)
Tripod is also mounted between the burner and top of the
font
on Rayo lamps that originally had a shade. The remaining
essential part is the cotton wick, which is mounted inside
the
burner in the wick riser.
Note: The lamp may not be a Rayo unless it has the
vertical
slotted or heart shaped openings in the foot. Someone may
have replaced the fill cap or flame spreader with the Rayo
named ones.)
