This mechanical lamp utilizes a motor driven fan that creates a draft to provide air for combustion in the burner. A clock type motorized fan provides a sufficient enough draft, which is designed to eliminate a chimney. The lamp has been renickeled and the clock motor checked. It is in excellent condition with only minor creases to the burner cone and a light crease in the top of the font. The burner base is a Pinafore, which is nearly like the hitchcock in appearance, and the top burner cone is a signed Hitchcock. The lamp stands 12" high and has a 6" diameter base. The lamp was made in Watertown NY circa 1895. A collector grade lamp.
