An oil lamp in the fishscale pattern about 12' high. The lamp is an older version as indicated by the original push-on collar. The lamp has an old #2 burner and a newer swirl design chimney.
The fishscale pattern is circa 1890's and is described in The Thuro book I, Pg 304. The chimney is not early as it has a beaded lip on the fitter, it is made somewhere in the last half of the 20th century, although I don't believe it is available any longer. There is one minor flaw; a small smooth flake on the stem, no cracks.
